The first few weeks of college have been great. I am really enjoying the classes and I've been keeping up with homework.
I have been finding the Spanish very hard and I really need to study in my own time a lot more and plan how I'm going to do that.
My favourite subjects at the moment are English Literature and History, I have always loved History but I didn’t expect that I would like Literature but I have enjoyed it very much and I have even started reading at my own leisure. Reading is something that I would never do unless I had someone very scary to force me and motivate me as I have the "concentration span of a Nat" words of my very lovely English teacher (NOT).
The longer I am on the course the happier I am that I made the right decision. I knew it opened many doors, I just didn't realise how many. My confidence is growing slowly but surely as I feel that I am getting closer to making my decision on which course to apply for at University, hopefully getting offers and actually doing it!
So, I’m still feeling optimistic at the moment, I would be even more optimistic if I got my act together and studied more Spanish at home.
Note to self:
* STUDY MORE AT HOME AND STOP BEING DISTRACTED AND LAZY!! (Mainly Spanish)
Hasta La Vista :)
